Thankful.

This year I am thankful for many many things. What a year it has been.
Adventure, challenges, travel, experiences, etc....I wouldn't change it for anything. I am also thankful for supportive in-laws, extended family and friends. We couldn't get through a lot of these challenges without them. I am also thankful for new perspectives. I know that is strange but it surely has changed who I am and want to be. And of course I am very faithful most of all for my Lord Jesus. What amazing things he has shown Chris and I this year.

...and turtle mocha's, yummy!

Cinnamon Biscuits

The recipe changed in the mist of looking at the other recipe and becoming overwhelmed and impatient with the process. Go figure... me thinking about baking and getting overwhelmed,ha! I wanted quick and safe.

We didn't have any raisins so I don't think they tasted nearly as good. But very similar to Hardees cinnamon biscuits. The frosting was a little thrown together but wasn't bad.

Here is the turn out.

Can't you just smell the greatness!!!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

I am going to attempt to bake. NOT cook, bake! It's totally two different things. The recipe is......."Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls". Yummy, right? I was more interested in the fact that it might take 90 minutes. So tomorrow it's off to the grocery store to get the supplies. I am so pumped for these rolls. Stay tune for the results. My results!

Have I discovered a relationship saga at Caribou Coffee???

Again... I am at Caribou Coffee. Yes, Dad that would make it $10 on coffee in the last two weeks! I rock!

Anyways, I have to blog about this because I think I have discovered an relationship saga going down at Caribou Coffee over the last few weeks. The last time I was here there was a girl and her boyfriend (?) having serious conversation at a table directly in front of mine. I couldn't forget this girl because I remember thinking how much makeup she had on over her already baked tan. Not to mention, she had such a sour look on her face the entire time she was with her boyfriend (?).

So today, would you believe it this girl walks in again by herself and takes a seat on the couch. To my surprise a DIFFERENT guy walks in and sits next to her.

What is going on here??? Is she dating two guys? She has an interesting life. Maybe I should develop a story out of her life. That would be sort of fun.

Anyways... I thought it was funny. If I come here again and she walks in with another different guy I will start a book. You can count on it.

mmmmm....coffee

I'm at Caribou coffee my least favorite coffee at the moment. But they have internet access and they are close to where I currently live. My favorite thing to do is sip on some specialty coffee and surf the internet at the coffee shop. My Dad hates that I drink specialty coffee and waste my money on it. He does the math for me every time I tell him I drink it. As if I don't know how to calculate how much I spend on coffee. That is my fun thing that I do so I'm sticking to it.
God bless America! God bless the economy!

Feathers, feathers, feathers.

Sunday afternnon Sara, Elizabeth and I made feather headbands, combs, and clips. We had seen them made at Urban Outfitters and they were selling them for $24. No way were we going to pay that price. So we had a party and pretty much made them all afternoon. Good times!

I made this peacock clip this afternoon. I LOVE IT!!!

Game night.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHT was filled with pizza, delicious cookies that Sara surprisingly came from a box, and games games games!!!!

We started off with Uno Spin. Fun game. Play of the night. I had one card left-UNO and I had to Spin and the option was show your card. Now everyone knew my last card. Bummer, I lost. Then we played Apples to Apples. I've only played that game once before with a bunch of teenage girls. It's pretty fun. The last game of the night was Scene-it. We sort of lost momentum but Kevin was all into it. He was still playing the game as we walked out the door. See ya....

It was a very fun evening. Laughs and more laughs.

Not posting.

I haven't posted in awhile. I just go through those times where I can't write or don't have anything to write about. Maybe it's the weather. Snow, hello!??!?!
I wish it would completely blizzard outside instead of this rain/snow stuff. Depressing.

There really isn't anything new going on with Chris and I. I've been working part-time at American Family and Chris at Prometric. Here and there we get time to go out and look at houses which has a been fun. Nothing yet. Still looking.

I'm not sure if I'm ready for the holidays yet. I was sad for the summer to be over and now the fall is almost over. It's like I wasn't expecting it but it happens every year. I'll make it. Although, I was at MICHAELS today and they have a ton of christmas decorations out and I got excited for a moment. I wish I had a house to decorate. I would go to town decorating it. I'll buy them after christmas when they go on sale. Then I won't feel so bad to have them sit in a box until next Christmas.

Well thats all. Until next time.

Photo Shoot.

Okay, so today I didn't really have a professional photo shoot. But it was a photo shoot non the less. And yes it was in my in-laws basement. Even better, right! I am my own model these days because I'm the only one that can handle the long pauses between pictures to figure out what the heck is going on with my camera. In this session I used SPOT lights for my lighting. Boy those are HOT! I had to open a few windows to let in some fresh air.

Anyways...

Here are the pictures. Enjoy!

Bomb Fire.

Last night Chris and I torched (literally) 6 bails of hay that were left over from the Ho-down! So fun!
