Little wants, Big needs!

I was thinking today how blessed Chris and I are even in the situation we are in. I realize that I haven't had this much fun in a long time. Even with no jobs God is taking care of our needs and also giving us our wants.

I am so thankful that I have had the luxuries of going to the pool during the day or having coffee every other day. How amazing that God is taking care of our needs and also giving us a little extra (pizza, coffee, movies) to give us a little pick me up. Money or no money I want to be able to hold secure to what God has planned for mine and Chris' life.

In the trails that Chris and I have gone through I have noticed that when we have money we tend to fall short of running to God for security or just seeking him in the small things. Then of course, when we are in desperate need we are crying out for help. I want to come to the place where I am seeking him daily for security. For me that is a hard thing to develop because I think sometimes I can do it better by myself. It's a control issue =)
