Train crash of a day...

I started off my gorgeous morning by suiting up and heading down to the pool to lay out. It was about 9:45am. I get down there and the gate is locked. "COME ON!"
So I gave them a break and waited until about 10:30 am. By then it was actually a little chilling outside and I decided to just head to Fido coffee shop to work on my papers for school. By noon I finally head downtown. I have never traveled to Fido by myself but I did have my trusty GPS unit with me. I get to Fido about 12:15 pm and find that traffic is packed. In this part of town you have to park on the side roads. Similar to Saint Paul area.

**Side note** Did I mention that before I left the apartment I managed to smack my foot on the bed. See picture below.

Back to my story. SO I'm downtown having no luck finding a parking spot. I decide to skip it and find the nearest Starbucks. Even though it wasn't my favorite and they don't have free internet I figured it would MAKE me work on my paper. I grab my GPS and search for the nearest Starbucks. It said it was about 1.5 miles away. Not bad. I get to the Starbucks and it's in a freaking grocery store. Not really my type of "writing a paper environment" I was looking for. It's about 12:45 pm at this point and my day is wasting away. I decide to count my losses and go to the Starbucks that is only 1 mile from our apartment. I should have went there in the first place. I get there and immediately start rethinking whether or not I want to even stay here. I grab a Green Tea frapaccino and sit down, open my computer and start typing a word document. I am just no feeling the vibe from this place.
Grrrrr.... I pack up my computer and head home with my drink in hand.
It's about 2pm now as I continue to wast my day away blogging.
Oh well, you and live and you learn.

Organization and CUTE Dogs!!!

Last night we attempted to organize e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! When we first started the apartment was clean. Now it is a shambles. A total mess. AH! We also came to find that our apartment doesn't really provide us as must storage space as we'd like. I think we might rent out a garage and see if we can pack that out.

It's scary also because Chris wants to get rid of it all. Throw a match to it and let it burn! I try and intervene and convience him that we will some day want these things. I don't think he gets it but one day he will thank me for it. =)

Aside from rescuing my belongings I am also trying to convience Chris of letting me get a cutie dog, Boston Terrier. There is a couple here at the apartment complex that have THREE Boston Terriers and they walk them ALL around the complex. It is the funniest thing.

Please post your comments to Chris in asking him for a dog for me. We need to come together and unite on this (ha ha ha).

Broken chair...

I almost forgot. The other day Chris was at the kitchen table looking on the internet and I heard this LOUD sound. BBBBAAAAANNNNNGGGGGG!!!!!
I walk in to the kitchen, "WHAT HAPPENED? ARE YOU OKAY?" I find Chris laying on the floor and the kitchen chairs looks like this...

The Grande Old Opry, Panera Bread and flowers

We adventured out today. It was sort of an extended birthday for Chris. We stopped at this very cute Panera Bread. It had an outside patio and the patio furniture was so cute. It is now been deamed my favorite Panera Bread location.

Then we toured The Grande Ole Opry. I thought it was pretty cool Chris said that we needed to experience it as customers because someday we'll be backstage!

Down here in Nashville they have these HUGE flowers. Chris put his hand in front of one of the pictures so you could see how big these flowers actually are. These flowers were only on shrubs but they also have these huge white flowers on trees all over the city.

I know everyone is missing MR. ORANGE and are anxiously awaiting to see pictues of him. Wait no longer here they are the cutest cat you'll ever see =)





Here is Mr. Orange cuddling with me the other night. He does this with me nightly. It's very strange and a little odd.

Downtown Nashville

Tonight we went downtown Nashville on a little walk and enjoyed some people watching and ice cream at "Mike's ice cream". This place is now my favorite ice cream shop because they have peanut butter cup. Not many ice cream shops have peanut butter cup. Chris had some random 'Nutty Buddy' ice cream flavor with nuts and oatmeal. He always chooses the gross flavors. He's adventurous!
