It's a Tuesday kind of day!

Last time I filled up on gas (last week) the price was $1.69/ filled up for roughly $20.00.Today I past the gas station and it went up $1.89 that’s about $2 more. I’m not saying that I can’t afford it but January 20th is falling near so I guess that makes sense. I was really enjoy $1.49.

Today is a coffee and computer day. Location of choice is Caribou-Blaine. I don’t really like this one particularly because it’s small and often very cold but today I lucked out and the sun is shining right on me. Perfect. I also don’t care for the Blaine soccer Moms that come and meet each other and talk about their kids, diets, and gossiping. Their accents are so annoying. BUT… I know that my accent isn’t much better. I sure am working on it. Anytime I say, “Oh my gosh!” or “OH YEAH!” in a strong Minnesota accent I owe Chris a $1. I’m sure I’ve racked up a good $50 since the bet in December(we didn't really keep track- should though). I just try to use other words to express myself like, “right!”, “that’s perfect!”, or “totally” but that’s pushing it towards valley girl. My favorite reaction to my accent (some have hear this story) was when we joined a small group down in Nashville. We went around to introduce ourselves and I said about 4 words and they all looked at me in amazement of my powerful accent. Some had they're mouths open. I disclosed myself right away that I was from Minnesota.

Any suggestions for expressive words that I could use that wouldn’t make it so obvious I’m a northern? So sad. =) ha ha ha!
