Holiday baking...

This year I'm going to put my baking skills to the test. I've been anxious to bake holiday treats. I have one request, peanut butter cups! It has been a family recipe for a very long time and we all love it. However, I think I'm going to mix it up this year and put them in tin cups instead of 13 x 9 baking pan. It'll make it a little more festive. I'm also going to try a new recipe, Oreo Truffles. They are so YUMMY! Then of course you have to have the traditional sugar cookies. But this year I want to really decorate then; colorful icing, decorations, the whole nice yards.

My father-in-law started the holiday baking the other day with his traditional chocolate pretzels. The kitchen looked like a candy shop. Pretzels everywhere!
